Invincible Promotions brings the most anticipated shows to Sydney’s Olympic Park Sports Centre in Homebush, NSW. IMMORTALITY will provide you with a night of outstanding fights and entertainment. Directors Stuart McKinnon & Reinhard Badato are a huge part of the fabric that is the Australian & World Muay Thai/Kick Boxing fight scene.

Stuart McKinnon brings his well respected name and professional focus, with a gruesome fight card of 30 World Class fights, Stuart is the Promoter for the momentous fight shows Battle of the Big Guns 1 & 2, while Reinhard Badato the 3 times Light Weight Current World Champion who has the very successful fight shows AfterMath & Annihilation, together they have turned the Australian fight scene upside down with these exciting family events.

What an unbelievable night Battle of the Gods II was. Thou the weather beauro predicted the night to be cool but fine, inside the stadium however, you would have begged to differ.

A storm was a brewing… Strong winds created by the swift jabs the warriors exchanged, thunder by their roars to survive…to win… and in the end, God of Thunder ‘Thor Hoopman and God of War ‘Steve McKinnon’ to end the perfect storm… the storm of Immortality II.

Crowds from different nations were flocking the Olympic State Sports Centre to see the much hyped event – Immortality. Like ants the crowd scurried into the large dome and found their seats, preparing for the night ahead…

There was a hollywood feel about the place, with the floor layout setup like a scene from a movie. A catwalk like walkway for the fighters guarded by bright mechanical columns, thou instead of models… warriors walked the runway. And the floor, well there was enough space to comfortable walk around and have a quiet conversation with friends.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats” the announcer blurted as he took up the spotlight on centre ring. It was about time, as the crowd was getting restless and the tension in the air thickened to an obvious level. “We are about to call out our first fight, so please take your seats”, that sentence was followed by an incredible roar of applause from the crowd, all that bottled up hype was released like a geyser from one of Hawaii’s volcanoes.

Many fighters walked into the stadium, calm, hiding their anxiety with a couple training regimes and a few words from their trainers. Some walked in confident, some still as boys, some were weary, but all fighters walked out as men and with pride. Good work boys!

So much testosterone in the air, blood, and fighting, what better way to balance the mix, then by adding a bit of romance in the air. And that is what Michael Badato did on the night of IMMORTALITY. Not only did he win his fight but he won the hearts of many in the stadium, and most importantly won his long time girl friend’s hand in marriage with a deadly combination of one knee to the ground followed by a gentle hand grab and finished with soft spoken words of ‘Will you….’ Ok you catch my drift. This is a kickboxing website, not RSVP.
